WEC crews worked through the night to restore power to nearly all members who were out. They continue to work on two locations where issues remain. Statewide, about 3,000 electric customers remain out of power.

Power has been restored to members who were out in Corinth. Crews are currently working on outages in Calais, Barre and Williamstown, and in Chelsea and Brookfield. They will then begin work on smaller incidents causing more limited outages. Roughly 500 WEC members remain out of powers, as do others around the state. This post will be updated in the morning.

Wind gusts have brought trees down on power lines across Vermont, and in several parts of WEC territory, causing outages around the system. Crews are on site repairing breaks, and additional crews are on their way. The most impacted towns are Chelsea and Corinth, where crews are currently working.
Marshfield, Calais, Barre and Walden also have outages.

WEC is experiencing outages throughout our service territory due to passing thunderstorms. Crews are out to assess damage and begin restoration.
Please see the WEC Outage Map for most up-to-date outage locations and numbers. The towns currently most greatly affected are Corinth, Chelsea, Marshfield, Brookfield, and Calais. Other outages throughout territory.
