WEC crews continue to work on restoring power to our members. 5 outage events remain, affecting about 28 WEC members.

WEC crews have restored the vast majority of the outages from this morning. We are seeing additional outages in the Western portion of our territory, perhaps as the back end of the storm makes its way through. Crews will continue working on outages as they crop up. If you remain out of power at midnight, there is a high probability that you will remain out of power until tomorrow.

There are currently about 250 members without power throughout WEC territory. Crews are currently working to restore power in Corinth and Walden, as well as in Topsham, Chelsea, and Calais.

WEC is experiencing scattered outages throughout our service territory related to the strong storm system moving through the region. With wind gusts of up to 55 mph, there is the potential for more outages throughout the day.
Due to an operation on the Green Mountain Power transmission line feeding WEC’s Walden substation, roughly 1,200 members served via that substation are currently without power. Crews are working to restore power. An additional 200+ members are without power due to other outages across WEC territory.
