Crews are finishing work on a small outage that occurred early in the morning after working into the night. We expect the remaining few outages in Barre Town to be completed this morning.

Crews have restored power to those without electricity due to storm damage throughout the evening, but additional outages continued to come in. Power has been restored to all but about 280 WEC members, primarily in Gorton, Peacham and Ryegate. Line workers will continue to work into the night to restore power to those currently out and to respond to additional outages.

Due to wide spread thunderstorms, there are 389 outages in and around Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Groton, Moretown, Peacham, Ryegate, Topsham, and Worcester. Crews are working steadily to restore power as soon as possible. Please do what you can to prepare and be safe during these storms.
