Crews worked overnight and restored power to all but about 18 members. Work to restore electricity to those remaining members in Greensboro, Wheelock and a single outage in Newbury continue. about 194 remain out of power statewide.

The Walden substation has been restored but 932 members throughout WEC territory remain without power due to the high winds. Crews are working to restore power as soon as possible but please prepare to be without power through the evening. Thank you and stay safe.

WEC is currently experiencing a large out due to our Walden substation. The cause is currently unknown. We are also experiencing widespread outages due to the high winds. Crews have been dispatched. Please prepare for your power being out into the evening. Thank you for your patience.
